Today is my first day to take Trilostane to help reduce the side effects from Cushing's disease. It's a scary drug. Supposedly, it helps a lot of patients if they live beyond the first couple weeks. It comes with a warning that it is toxic to humans and to use gloves to handle it or wash hands afterwards. Sounds delicious AND nutritious, right? Coincidentally, I am taking a steroid for my eye. Too much steroid in my body but not enough in my eye? Aye, I suppose. For those who don't know Cushing's side effects, here are some of mine
We'll see how this drug does to alleviate these symptoms I'm not a PROFESSIONAL actor, but I can do some pretty good impressions AND expressions. I did start by stating I'm not a professional. Close though huh? :) hehe
Ugh. I was not in the mood to visit the vet Tuesday. I was being tested for Cushing's disease even though at least four doctors think I have it. They won't treat me until it is proven. Well, now it has been proven. So treat me! :) Typically, this type of test requires a full day stay in a cage at the vet. Not for me! I went in three times to have my blood drawn and medicine administered at 9AM 1PM and 5PM. By the third time I was over it. I felt like a head of vampires filled their bellies on my blood. I had no more energy, or blood, to put up a fight. Oh, and the worst part? I wasn't able to eat anything all day long. It felt like an eternity. Trust me, dogs know what eternities feel like. Sorry, can't explain it to you humans in a way you'd understand. It would sound like woof, wrrooof, owrrr, woof woofrr. The best part of the whole day was going to the park after my doctor visits. I visited one of my old stomping grounds. No one was around though. Do they make dog coffee? It was too early to have my blood drainedBram Stoker's Vampire hairdo - felt inspired by the blood letting. It was just a bad hair dayAt the end of the day, all ended wellThe Quinceanera I had last year was pretty boring so I decided this year for my sixteenth birthday that I would like to have a HUGE gathering of all my friends to celebrate the bond we've formed. I am sooo lucky to have many friends who have welcomed me into their lives and homes. So, it's time for another party! Just leave me alone! Hehe
I am so happy to be alive in this moment: The only moment that exists. - Badger I feel GREAT when my hair is com-pl-ete-ly brushed out. It just takes a long time and it hurts if it isn't done regularly. Someone has been neglecting me! It's OK. I only like the results not the process. Anyway check out my hair when it is brushed out! Only my head was brushed in these photos
I've been wanting one of these for a long time! I'd love one with a side car. That would be the coolest. I can't decide which to get, Harley Davidson or Indian. It'll be a surprise! Can't wait to get the leather jacket and goggles. :)
Finally, a new car! This is probably my last new vehicle as it should last me a LONG time! I love the smell of NEW
I love meeting friends at the park and just sitting in the grass soaking up the sun. Look at my teeny rat tail!
